@Starbucks Had coffee & cake in your branch on S Parade in Nottingham UK today. Your staff, while attending to other duties, also took time out to notice & help elderly customers with mobility difficulties enter & exit. They were a credit to your brand.
In just over a week's time, we'll be kicking off 2023 in style, with @Dave_Will_EM telling us about his journey with #ansible! ✨
Join us in person at @RebelRecruiters HQ in Notts city centre (with free parking 🚗 & pizza 🍕 !) Or online 🙌

@baynesa I do wonder what the thinking is of the authorities in China. I would guess that there is greater compliance with any imposed lock-down there, but I'm a bit puzzled as to what's motivating their zero COVID tolerance strategy. Perhaps it's their population density in the cities?
@UHDBTrust You sent me a letter asking me to call to arrange an appointment. Nobody ever answers the number you give. A few rings, then a recorded message ("Sorry we're busy, try another time") and the call drops - no queuing system, no callback option. How is this going to work?
@baynesa Spooky incident the other day. Paula says to me, "While you're out, see if you can get a nail brush". Later that day, nail brush adverts appear in my Facebook feed. At no point did I do a related online search. Microphone?
@SF_England It would be useful if the website actually told you that you were in such a queue. Even more useful would be to have a website that's actually specified to cope with the demand placed upon it.
Any estimate on when your website might be available again @SF_England so that I can submit the financial information that you've asked me for? It's been down for quite a while with no notice of when it might return.
My partner's parents' landline has been down since yesterday. They're old, vulnerable and not mobile phone savvy. Estimate for a fix from @bt_uk? 21st May! Ridiculous.
