Oftentimes in the political fallout in the days following a mass shooting it’s the heroes like Nashville PD Officers Rex Engelbert, and Michael Collazo (pictured below) who don’t get enough credit.

Regardless of your political stance on guns and political stance on the mass shooting epidemic in America, there is no doubt that the actions of these two officers saved countless lives.

These men put their lives on the line to save others, and did so in a professional, heroic manner.

Why can’t we all work together; police, schools, gun control activists, and mental health experts to come up with sensible solutions that protect our children?
