I'm happy to be corrected but the CQC are going to be looking for training that meets the requirements of the Code of Practice that is still in draft. This doesn't have to be Oliver's training even though it is the preferred training?

@ItsEmilyKaty I've just finished the National Autism Trainer programme and there is a whole section on language. Identity first is my preferred language but I would always ask someone else what they prefer. The course is good, you would recognise some of the contributors and it's free to do.

I've just completed the National Autism Trainer Programme and it was nice to attend training that could make a difference. Seeing some people I recognise from here such as @AnnMemmott @milton_damian was good as well. The roundabout theory and double empathy is very useful.
