Gamer for over 30 years. I use Twitter to keep a record of what games I’ve been playing. Not very interesting to anybody other than myself probably lol
Here is my personal top 5 games for 2024:
1: Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
2: Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
3: Silent Hill 2
4: Senua's Saga: Hellblade II
5: Dragon Age: The Veilguard
The end of another year. It’s been a strange one for me with games. I only bought a handful of newly released titles which is unheard of for me. The majority of my time was spent replaying older titles. Hoping 2025 has more new games that appeal to me
End of last year I never would have guessed Fortnite would be my number one played game this year. Despite it not being my thing it was fun to help my boy play and we got plenty of Victory Royale’s along the way. Really happy Snowrunner made my top 3 too! #XboxYearInReview
@StarBusterGames I’m glad it’s not just me but It’s a shame isn’t it. I’ve had a few really intense gunfights but then I’m killed by something I either cannot see or something that can turn invisible. In fact, every death I’ve had has been from something like that 😒
I’m really torn with STALKER 2. The exploration and gunfights with human npc’s are fantastic!! However, constantly getting killed by invisible things in one or two hits is getting very tedious. Kind of wish it was just humans and not mutants and things in the game
I had a quick play about with this tonight and it’s excellent and looks much better than I was expecting. Such a pleasant surprise and I look forward to playing some more

My kids have been playing Goat Simulator today and it’s so nice to hear them laughing so much!! Its been great to see them messing about with all the funny things you can do
Usually, all they want to play is Fornite which ends in anger and arguments.
@ColinTaylor84 Yeah I’d say this is similar. It appears to be divining opinion but so far so good. Maybe it’s aimed at new audiences which has annoyed older fans.
You can see the similarities with Mass Effect in the dialogue options and the way you tell your companions to attack etc
I know nothing about Dragon Age but I decided to pick up The Veilguard on a whim as I wanted to try something new. I must say, I am pleasantly surprised.
The game looks great and I like the art style. Combat seems solid too. I’m looking forward to exploring the world more
