Navy veteran Joe Ousalice was sacked by the Royal Navy in 1993 for being bisexual due to a ban on LGBT officers serving in the armed forces.

The Prime Minister has since promised any victims of the ban compensation but Joe fears that because of his prostate cancer diagnosis he will 'be dead before anything happens.'
