Result 1 means the child has fulfilled the minimum requirements for the award of UCE Certificate. The minimum requirement is a candidate scoring at least a D in any of the 8 or 9 subjects sat. E.g, a candidate who scored EEEEEEEED and another scores AAAAAAAAA, both get Result 1.
