@kunley_drukpa Anything involving the Blue and Greens in Byzantium, mostly.
Notably, when they eventually joined forces against the Imperium, they we're massacred in their turn.
As things stand now, Rupert Lowe risks becoming another Zemmour, a radical force similtaneously making the "regular" populist right seem more palatable in comparison and dragging them further to the right on certain points.
As much as I prefer the stern and unapologetic Lowe to Farage's grifting Tories2.0, I'm just not sure the general British public - despite everything - will be swayed by endless gruesome details from the rape gangs inquiry and constant promises of executing people.
Like Zemmour's "Reconquest" party, Lowe rhetoric is overtly warlike. The online right might think that something akin to a war is exactly what Britain needs, but you have to ask yourself, does the average right-wing Brit think so too? Will they en masse ditch a familiar right-wing party that promises to "bring back common sense" in favour of one that promises conflict and says things like "let's put these vile animals to death"? I'm not convinced.
@turincomplete@BovrilG They did, but got hung up about it. It was the fusion of Germanic culture and Christian religion which gave us our civilization, really.
@philippilk@magyarpeterMP Can you hear that scratching sound? It's Philip Pilkington scraping the barrel for anything he can find to throw at the new government.
@BovrilG I remember on numerous occasions pointing out to snooty Remainers that native British tradesmen with a family, house and mortgage were competing with Poles sleeping six to a room and sending remittances home. None of them had even thought of that before.
@BovrilG It's basically the cads and bounders of the Reform Cavaliers versus dour and earnest Restore Roundheads now, isn't it? I'm watching this with more ironic detachment than I should, really.
@BovrilG Stands to reason. Being a white-skinned white who turns lobster pink after 15 minutes in the sun on a bank holiday Monday is no great shakes I can tell you.
