My late Stepfather a retired pathologist did voluntry work and set up a Red CrossBranch in Middlesbrough but resigned when he found the directors of the Red Cross were on huge wages AS WELL as their directorship pensions from former professional careers

@TerrySparrow4 Sadly there was a guy who used to sit outside the Co Op whos military pension was denied him over some clause. He reckoned Boris Johnson found a loophole which he put to a vote at 3am (so few mps turned up)which ultimately stopped his pension.

He actually was in a care home but he would sit outside the co op not to beg for money but to just talk to people as the other occupants in the home were unsavoury people.
