10.5 km walk today around fields in Chaldon/Merstham Surrey. Numerous Rooks among the mixed corvid flocks, 4 Common Gull, 2 Buzzard, Meadow Pipit, Redwing and a single Fieldfare were the highlights. #surreybirds @SurreyBirdNews

@stormcabbirds Plenty in the Surrey Hills around Dorking though! I’d say Willow tit is much rarer down south.

A first for my local patch! Pheasant was very politely walking on a woodland path and seemed quite tame. Was missing its tail and refused to fly… fox to blame perhaps? #surreybirds
