@ConvexValue Ok. And
Is there a supported/simple way for a CVForge app to continuously publish or export its current JSON/state to a local app on my pc?
@ConvexValue Also, separate question: will CVForge expose live SPX/VIX reference price directly at some point? Right now I’m estimating reference price from the options chain using delta ATM.
@ConvexValue - But repeated timed exports become stale.
- Direct localhost fetch appears CSP-blocked.
- Relay workarounds are not stable enough for live use.
Is there an official recommended pattern for local continuous export, or should this be handled by an external collector automation
@ConvexValue Hi!
Is a CVForge app expected to support continuous JSON export to a local bridge, e.g. POST to localhost every Poll Now / timed refresh?
- I:SPX / I:VIX chain data loads correctly.
- One JSON POST to a local bridge can succeed.
should delta-ATM remain the fallback for now?
@ConvexValue Goal: resolve native SPX reference price for distance-to-strike, ATM IV, and price-vs-gamma-flip instead of using delta ATM estimate fallback.
@ConvexValue The app also reports that no underlying endpoint method was found in the runtime.
Question: does CVForge expose a browser method equivalent to convexlib get_und(symbols=["SPX"], params=["price"])?
If yes, what is the correct method and symbol format?
@ConvexValue Hi!
It s me again haha
Using cvforge with I:SPX / I:VIX. Chains now load, but SPX reference_price / underlying_price remains null. What is the recommended cvserver method or field to get live I:SPX index/reference price?
@ConvexValue Which symbol format is officially supported by CVForge chain endpoints?
Tested:
SPX
SPXW
XSP
!SPX
Current behavior:
SPX/SPXW/XSP → 0 contracts
!SPX → unsupported characters
Is there a canonical symbol format recommended for SPX-family chains?
Thank you!!
@ConvexValue while VIX OI rows and some derived gamma_proxy calculations still work.
Is this:
an expected limitation of current CVForge endpoints,
a symbol mapping issue,
or are SPX-family chains not fully exposed yet?
