Was speaking with a Polish woman whose partner is Irish. Both working, can’t afford to buy, not eligible for social housing.
A Somali man started working in her workplace and within 6 months was given a 5 bedroom house, and he brought over his extended family.

Somalia is 7,200 kilometers away from Dublin, the trip costs thousands.

They could have claimed asylum in Turkey, Greece, Italy, France, the UK, or others depending on their route. Why did they come to Ireland?
