Pro Tip- now is the season to order yourself something extravagant because when the package comes you can hide it and your kids and spouse will assume it’s a Christmas gift for them.
Don’t tell your kids about the world, show it to them. This is from our trip last month to Mestia - high in the Caucus mountains near the border of Russia in Georgia.
@AubryAndrews He was incredibly nice a few years ago to my then 78 year old mother in a car rental office (she didn’t know who he was), he got her coffee and kept her company for almost an hour before I got there to pick her up.
It’s an amazing feeling the first time your toddler says “I love you Daddy” which is only slightly dampened when she turns around to say it to the dog.
@History_Georgia If the tamada isn’t enough to fill an episode maybe go with all of the elements of a supra to celebrate your anniversary. I love your presentations- great for an American to learn about Georgia.
Nothing makes my toddler happier than when you stick a Band-aid on her and she runs to tell everyone she has a boo boo…and that pretty well sums up human psychology.
@artbybutterfly Ours will be up through Orthodox Christian New Year- Jan 14th. My wife is Orthodox and it’s tradition in Eastern Europe to keep them up that long. Makes it worth decorating a lot.
@maxfras This has been a simmering fight with my Georgian wife since we had a baby- plus the baby needing to wear layers even when it’s 80+ degrees outside!
@itsRobynwithay I did and the transaction was easy and fast, however the car had some issues (smell, cheap replacement tires, and scratches that became apparent after I washed their wax off on a 2018 caddy). It was too much trouble to send it back though. Probably wouldn’t do it again.
