@wizzair - where are your baggage handlers at Luton? Where is your management to explain what is happening? Why are you not communicating with your customers? Now waiting 3 hours for baggage at 4am with no end in sight…not good enough and catastrophic customer service!
An hour after landing and eating at our stand @LDNLutonAirport have still not managed to even get close to providing any steps or baggage staff to get us off our WizzAir plane. Patience is wearing thin on board FFS!!
Come on @LDNLutonAirport - flights cancelled yesterday due to weather I sort of get, but having now just landed you have no staff to get steps to our plane?! Didn’t someone tell you we were coming?!
Since launching, our free digital helpline has enabled vulnerable customers to get access to online banking & stay connected to family & friends.

Have you #diabetes or have a friend of family member who does? if so as its #NationalTeaDay, grab a cup of tea and take a few minutes to read our blog on why it is so important to look after your feet if you have diabetes. @dgarmstrong@DiabetesUK https://t.co/e3L7qcCFp6
Just a healthy reminder that we have less than 3 months to request the 2 year extension.
This government can hardly handle Corona let alone full blown Brexit negotiations
@PaulHawkins66 That's the million dollar challenge! With recessions looming globally, businesses going bust, poverty increasing, general health declining as a result and possible increases in suicide as people's life savings, pensions and general wealth disappear. But agree it needs addressing.
Yes worth reading. As a logical argument (assuming the figures quoted are close to true) there's sense in the argument. It's just unpalatable in today's society.I'd like to see the wider 'normal' death rate broken down by all conditions for this time of yr & post the GFC of 2008.
I think it’s worth reading this thread in full to see just how wrong it is -
“Spending that kind of money to extend the lives of a few hundred thousand mostly elderly people with underlying health problems by one or two years is a mistake.”
@PaulHawkins66 As I said before that's not palatable in an advanced society so wouldn't happen, but that doesn't mean it's not something that should be considered/understood as a consequence of the actions of today so all people are aware of the quid pro quo with any actions that affect us all.
@PaulHawkins66 I can't deny that Paul. But the sentiment isn't about C19 being the killer here, but how the actions of today could impact the future death rate (post C19)-and that might actually be far worse in actual numbers of dead but hidden as 'normal' death stats.

@parismarathon please can we have an update about what discussions are taking place concerning the cancellation or not of this event. Even knowing there are discussions taking place helps. 24hrs notice of cancellation will not be acceptable to anyone!
@Fl4shm4n37@parismarathon Agree-some news & update should be mandatory in light of the situation.Saying nothing isn’t an option with the half marathon cancellation with only 24hrs notice. Already have flights and hotel booked so 🤞. Just sent an email to the organisers press office asking for update.
