I write software. I play instruments. I'm a culinary perfectionist and, I communicate with the deceased. "These are a few of my favorite things" called life.
@JustinTMichael I grew up in Connecticut, just outside of NY. My Grandparents came fresh off the boat from Naples. New Haven pizza is untouchable. Prove me wrong! Hells kitchen? Hell no. Gimick
@KarenPayneMVP OMG. I started my career in 1997, programming websites in ASP with VB Script so when .NET came out, it was easy to understand the migration. When I got into bigger business as a contractor, I quickly realized I wasn't going to go far until I learned C#. Really wasn't that hard.
@KarenPayneMVP Hi, Karen - I'm an old-school ASP to .NET dev. Started with .NET when it was still in beta. Back then, in the late 90s, stored procedures were the preferred approach for both performance and separation of concerns. Why is it that we are writing inline SQL these days?
