@DrJoeAbah The Electricity Act, 2023 made provisions for decentralized systems. Pursuant to the Act, a number of states have enacted their state electricity laws. If properly implemented, such states can have their own grids & would no longer depend on the national grid, where applicable.

@InibeheEffiong The Electricity Act, 2023 has made provisions for this. Following the Constitutional Amendment (Fifth Alteration), the Electricity Act, 2023 was passed. A key feature of the Act is the decentralization of electricity generation, transmission and distribution.
