Remembering John Dawes on the fifth anniversary of his death. In 1971 he achieved a double still unique in rugby history: captaining Wales to the GS and the Lions to a series victory in NZ. Then, for good measure, he led the @Barbarians to their famous win over the All Blacks.

It is made from woven willow twigs, with two large pieces of flint to help it sink. It was discovered in the 1990s during an archaeological dig
