@PaprikaGirl_JP You're welcome! I don't blog, mainly because I am a very slow writer. I started a blog back in 2011 to write about a solo trip I took to Japan. But I have thought about starting again, I'll let you know! That writing prompt is good idea though.
@jpalmiotti He used to do in-store signings at the comic shop I worked at in high school. He was also in a community theater production of "Oliver" with my brother years ago, he was the nicest guy- so full of energy and joy, he will be missed! Sad news!
@FountainCartoon I'm curious why you needed to make this post to begin with? Is Family going out its way to hurt you in any way? Let those of us who work on the show do our thing and you do yours. We can all coexist happily in the world of animation without insulting each other needlessly.
@davidrmunson My 5D MK1 with a 50 f1.4 still delivers images unlike any other. Wish Canon would put a mode in the mirrorless cameras that was a "classic" mode, replicating the shooting experience of the old DSLR's. Simple 9pt AF, shutter lag.
@SethKearsley I think our problems just arise from the fact that the tech is at odds with who we are as creatives. And no matter how we try to change things, the motives behind what we do and what the tech peeps want to do just don't aline in my view. But everything you said is spot on.
@SethKearsley ...those who chose to embrace it early will the ones to profit and be "safe". But for how long really? And that those of use who refuse to embrace it will be lost to "progress". That old conflict of art vs. commerce.
@SethKearsley SAG, DGA, WGA- they could care less about us. They don't respect us at all. I mean if there's money behind things, the few that benefit will always screw over the rest of us. I guess you can argue that AI isn't going away and that... 1/
