1. You can disagree with me but I’m just as entitled to my views as you are to yours
2. You can be offended by something. But that doesn’t mean it’s offensive. That’s a matter of opinion
3. If I ❤️ a post it doesn’t necessarily mean I like or agree with it
@snammyy So sad. I feel for all the competitors and spectators who have not had the TT they were hoping for. I spoke to people who had travelled from Australia and the USA just to watch the TT and saw very little racing. Let’s hope next year is better.
The 38th milestone is located right behind the grandstand. It’s home to the TT Riders Association who help riders in need long after the fans have gone home. Please pay them a visit if you’re here. It’s also a great place to get some non mainstream merchandise. #iomtt#TT2026
@bo66ie29@JacquesHughesUK Yes! I was thinking about this a few days ago for the first time in years. You had to shake the bottle before opening to shift the cream at the top - assuming the blue tits hadn’t got there first!
@MrsSamClarke Or maybe (much more likely), he was operating as a sole trader prior to setting up under a limited company. There is nothing wrong with operating as a sole trader which is very common for tradespeople such as plumbers.
Funny how this country picks and chooses who it protects.
On one side, you’ve got men from the Special Air Service—the tip of the spear—walking away because they feel like they’ve got a target on their backs. Not from the enemy… from their own side.
Sent into chaos, told to get the job done. No headlines, no glory—just results.
Years later? Lawyers circling, investigations looming, and a government that suddenly can’t quite remember backing them.
Then look at veterans from Northern Ireland—dragged back through the mud decades on, while the people who sent them there sit comfortably out of reach.
But when failure happens here at home—think the Stockport massacre—what do we see?
Quiet resignations.
Full pensions.
No decades-long pursuit.
We’ll chase soldiers across half a century for decisions made in the fog of conflict…
But when leadership fails in plain sight, it’s a polite handshake and a send-off.
That’s not justice. That’s convenience.
And if you’re one of the lads watching all this unfold, why would you stay? Why would you risk everything knowing you might be the one left holding the bag years later?
We don’t have a recruitment problem.
We’ve got a loyalty problem.
No wonder the lads are getting out of the regiment—half the country hasn’t got a clue why they sleep soundly at night.
When you’ve been roasted to a crisp by @CamillaTominey on live TV and you turn off all replies because you can’t take the embarrassment handed out by the general public! 😂😂🤡
@IPhillips79 Here’s a tip that worked for me (I’d smoked for 40 years). Set yourself a date when you will stop. Make it a date sufficiently far in the future, say 6 months from now. Keep that date in mind every single day but until that day smoke what you want. But when the day comes - STOP.
