Newsmax: Why are college kids booing AI during graduation ceremonies?
Me: Because they did everything society told them to do — took on debt, got the degree, worked their asses off — and now they’re graduating into a brutal job market while billionaires openly brag about replacing human labor with AI and robotics. Honestly, I don’t blame them for being angry.
@RealDonKeith That's a prick then to do. People who recline their seats feel like they're inclined to do whatever they want and disregard everyone around them. Extremely disrespectful.

I am currently formulating a decent argument that had the name not changed from Redskins, at least some reduced scope of the Post sports department would still exist.
Nuking the name and logo was always going to have second and third order knock-on effects. This is now effectively a bad expansion team, whose own history and legacy “shall not be spoken of!”
NFL franchises drive sports radio in every single market, and much the same for all media. When this franchise was stripped naked by the hysteria of the moment, it was instantly and gravely wounded.
Of course these are all things that the “what does the name matter” crowd just don’t understand, and never will.
If you don’t think he was given this in some deal between the NFL and The Grammys to drive viewership for the SB halftime show, you don’t know how this shitty entertainment business works.
@CocoGauff You did nothing wrong. Showing emotion in an area you thought was private was totally justified. Keep showing that emotion, it means you care
The Redskins should fire Dan Quinn and hire Harbaugh immediately. Make him highest paid coach, let him bring in full staff. Would be a 400% upgrade without doing anything else
Major League Baseball was a testing-free league from 1986 until 2004.
Holding Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens to the same standard as players in the testing era is intellectually dishonest.
I genuinely feel sad that current 20 something’s missed the era of $500 rent, $3 happy hour, 5 bags of groceries for under $100, multiple job offers immediately after applying, and going out to party without social media apps at your fingertips. It was a TIME.
