Imperfect. Christian. Proud father! Kid at heart; Welder by trade; Honestly is the best policy! I don’t do phobias or isms; keep it clean and we can dialogue
Illinois current governor. Pritzker, a billionaire by birthright, saying the millionaire farm owner is the bad guy.
The same billionaire that bought the mansion next door, removed toilets for property tax fraud, and left it empty to avoid having neighbors.

By your logic, why should any resident pay fees, fines or taxes? The city sold debt for like 9 cents on the dollar. It’s doubtful much will get recovered. Also, how the hell are you 3 years into the job and still don’t realize the city lacks legal authority for a millionaire tax?
How does one even evaluate degrees awarded going forward anymore? Everyone is cheating. Everyone is offloading their thinking onto AI. No one is putting in effort.
Teens taking liberal talking points seriously. The world is about to end, your race is evil, a fulfilling life is working a career alone, men are evil, pregnancy is discussed along with STIs, abortion it THE woman’s right… imagine if you actually believed all of that?
Maybe it will though. Let's talk about The Strategic Absurdity Hypothesis.
Let's say you're a political radical or playing one on tv for cash. You can't just run for office and expect to win with such radical views. You're not looking to tweak the system, you're looking for REVOLUTION. You need ALLIES.
In such a case, it might be very efficient to embrace an easily disprovable lie as a core belief. It doesn't have to be about anything important - in fact, it might be better if it's about something that doesn't really matter. Your allies need to be able to (i) find each other and (ii) distinguish loyal members from outsiders.
It can't be any lie though. It should be COSTLY (people should think you're crazy for believing it or else anyone could adopt it). It should also be PERSISTANT (no matter what happens in reality, the lie should be flexible enough to endure). If you nail these traits, you can establish a highly effective coalitional signal.
I don't think these people really care about Kirk. He's dead and Robinson will be found guilty and there's nothing our nation's finest podcasters can do about it. But through this exercise the Dirtbag Right gets to establish their leadership structure and refine their communication channels and identify their soldiers. Not for this battle, but the next one.
Platner is what the Democratic Party thinks a working-class White Male actually is and has been telling everyone that for 10 years. This is a perfect summation of that.
This is reminiscent of the Biden collapse where dedicated career liberals all suddenly discovered that they were wrong about a very obvious thing that everyone had been telling them for months
@lyndseyfifield I've drawn this parallel more than once: This is the sort of ass-covering behavior you see from hierarchical, highly organized power structures. I've also seen it in academia and in churches.
It is a despicable form of leveraging power against the weak to protect the guilty
People love to say, “well, if not for disparate impact then people would just lie about their motivations and we’d never be able to stop racism” and it’s just like, yeah, I agree that your ideas are stupid and unworkable
These details are very damning for the NYT.
It was rather obvious to many of us that the Times piece was more cover-up than a proper dive into Platner’s scandals: https://t.co/lU4QeC3NIl
They basically set up Lyndsey to be a target for attacks and tried to frame the concerns over Platner as just a partisan issue. I said at the time that it wouldn’t matter except in hurting the women who came forward and the Times’ credibility because the rest would come out.
That turned out correct.
The continued voracious demand for H1B in tech proves remote work is not as efficient. If there is any field that is a match for remote work, it is coding. Yet the people who should have no need for anyone to be in person to work are the same people demanding H1B increases.
That is a lesson learned from AOC, Spanberger and Sherrill.
Mask your radicalism with gauzy filters on smartly dressed attractive women and voters with short attention spans will not recognize the "Trojan Horse" for what it is.
In the wake of the SCOTUS ruling on women's sports, it is more than a little worth noting that the entire narrative (from advocacy orgs, mainstream media and Democrat leaders) was centered on the supposed harm to boys who identify as girls.
No one noted it as a major civil rights win for women and girls. Pathetic.
@0xRuzy This is like Jody Foster talking about rich people not paying their fair share two years ago, while her net worth is north of $140 million.
Get bent, empty virtue signalers. Lead by example.
