I was at RFK in DC to see the Dead and Allmans 13 years earlier 6/9-10 1973 hot yes smokin good music and all were high…….

Heads as far as the eye can see 💀⚡

It was a scorchin’ July day in 1986 when the Dead and the Heads packed into RFK Stadium. Local news outlets were astonished to see the community that pulled through despite the hundred-degree weather. The Washington fire department came in to hose everyone down to keep the peace. Bob Dylan and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers were openers for both nights of this run, standing strong against the tough conditions in leather get-ups.
