@AmySwearer Honestly patting myself on the back here for getting the Tocqueville reference. One of those moments when being really into constitutional debate in high school is paying off years down the road. 😂
@helloitsaustin Design has always been the weakest link for personal skill set for ability to build on my own. I have lived and died in Canva templates for years. With this now….
My wife jumps out of airplanes. I also wouldn’t site by while someone made racist comments about her if that were ever likely to happen. Guess I am a more supportive & better husband than Vance.
Surprisingly, wasn’t hard plus I’m married to a bad ass? Thanks for the easy win. JD
JD Vance: Iran said, 'We refuse to give up the right to enrichment.' And I thought to myself, you know what, my wife has the right to skydive, but she doesn't jump out of an airplane. Because she and I have an agreement that she's not going to do that, because I don't want my wife jumping out of an airplane.
@BrotherGreen13 If I could, I’d bet a lot of money that Nate here is not only more fun to talk and hang out with, but also that he and his wife are a lot happier and more fulfilled in their marriage than all these guys paraphrasing Andrew Tate while trying to tell their church how wrong it is.
Earthset.
The Artemis II crew captured this view of an Earthset on April 6, 2026, as they flew around the Moon. The image is reminiscent of the iconic Earthrise image taken by astronaut Bill Anders 58 years earlier as the Apollo 8 crew flew around the Moon.
@helloitsaustin@shensi How often are you still building things right in Claude Code versus building with Cowork? I feel like I might be missing out with how little I’m using Code directly versus building and deploying with Cowork 🧐
Well, in my case, I'm influenced less by "class bound/coastal college graduate morality" than I am by religion (as I write in the piece). I think it's pretty wild that we as a society decided to dismiss millennia of accumulated wisdom—from ancient thinkers, spiritual leaders, philosophers, and leaders—about the perils of gambling and make it culturally ubiquitous overnight.
We’ve reached the part of the plot where I start cheering for…*checks notes* a large corporation engaged in artificial intelligence that could wipe out enough jobs to cause 20% unemployment nation wide, and their moral virtues, over our own government’s.
Warner: "We've had American intervention in Syria, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Nigeria, Venezuela, maybe Greenland where he would blow up NATO. Did you see the Brits and Germans are putting troops in Greenland because they want to send a message. How is this leading to price stability, bringing down costs?"
Allied troops have been surrounded by Germans at Kalamata, Greece. Their retreat cut off, they're ordered to surrender. New Zealand Sergeant Jack Hinton responds: "Fuck that, who'll come with me?"
When it comes down to it, you should be baseline skeptical that a Manhattan real estate developer and TV host has discovered a devastating flaw in 250 years of trade economics.
Why would anyone ever vote for a republican again if they care about the economy. Especially in congress, if all they’re doing is sitting by and watching Trump do this with “emergency” powers they could easily stop? @SenJohnCurtis
