Happening now 🚨 Two people, each carrying the body of a small child. A young girl discovers her brother lying in a pool of his own blood. His head has been smashed by shrapnel.
The moment she recognizes him, she begins screaming, My brother! My brother.
Pure evil.

Went on BBC Politics Live to discuss why Zionism is a racist ideology. The anchor and all three panelists looked like they were about to cry at the end. Very weird behaviour.

I do find this really quite abhorrent, in the same way that it was disgraceful when Burnham made the same pronouncement that the ZiR motion was antisemitic in Parliament
There are many very prominent Jewish and Palestinian people who supported the ZiR motion and have spoken in favour of it.
There are very large numbers of British Jews who are anti-Zionist (approx. 38,000, or 12% of all British Jews), a good portion of whom are anti-Zionist because they see Zionism is inextricably and undeniably racist.
It is extraordinary that Coburn thinks it's OK to declare them anti-semitic, and for the BBC to repeatedly fail to point out that anti-Zionism is a protected belief that has been declared to be "worthy of respect in a democratic society"; and that includes when anti-Zionism is predicated on the idea that Israel's foundation was a racist endeavor.
Really, these people live in a weird bubble. Approximately 50% people in Britain think Israel is committing a genocide in Gaza. Only 17% do not.
I'd wager that most ordinary people are looking at this furore and thinking to themselves: hold on, are we really saying the country committing genocide, whose leaders are wanted for war crimes and crimes against humanity, is not racist?
É piú violento rompere una vetrina o sfasciare il servizio sanitario nazionale? É piú violento bruciare un cassonetto o pagare un full time 600 euro? É piú violento lanciare un fumogeno o mandare i ragazzi in scuole con tetti pericolanti?
The same people horrified by scenes from yesterday’s protests across Europe somehow couldn’t give a damn when watching Gaza burn.
Tells you everything you need to know about where they stand.

- Saeda Odeh speaks about the loss of her 7 children, plus her entire extended family, and the greif she endures as the sole survivor.
I’d you’re shocked at the damage in France to an old town hall you’ll be horrified to hear what’s happened to the beautiful old buildings and heritage of the Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrians, Iraqis and Afghans
A statement was issued just moments ago announcing a ban on the entry of commercial goods into Gaza City until further notice.
Meanwhile, late at night, people have begun rushing to the markets, trying to buy whatever food they can for their children out of fear that food supplies will run out and famine will return.
If the ban on commercial goods and food supplies entering Gaza continues, famine will return in an even more severe and devastating form.
Enough playing with our lives. We are human beings, not numbers.
A good rule of history: if you find yourself opposing a student movement while siding with the ruling class, you're wrong. Every time, in every era, whatever the issue.
#Breaking: European diplomats, including French and Polish representatives, who went to the West Bank to observe the olive harvest, have been violently assaulted by Israeli settlers.
Latest on Heidi Levine: broken rib, four broken vertebrae, her finger was nearly cut off, multiple potential stabbing wounds. Surgery first thing in the morning.
A really excellent response by Barnet’s solitary Green councillor Charli Anne Thompson to Zionist hooligan Sarah Sackman (ex vice chair in Labour Zionist group the JLM).
This is the polite, articulate politician’s way to say “F off”.
10/10, no notes.
It really is time we abandoned 'good optics' and focused on saying and doing what is right. The notion that we should flinch from challenging the racism inherent in zionism coz it doesn't sell well is repellent. Where has this focus on 'optics' got the left exactly?

Ahmed’s strength in the face of such loss and brutality is an inspiration to us all.

"For me as a Palestinian, Zionism is racism. Zionism is genocidal. Zionism is sociopathic. Zionism is all about ethnic cleansing for a group of people at the expense of another. If I were not Palestinian, if I just happened to be a Jewish person, I would have lived with all my rights granted. No one would have questioned me, no one would have come after my land, my country, to kill us. So if that is not racism, then what is? Ever since I came to the UK, I've been hearing some bizarre ideas: 'Zionism means different things to different people'. Zionism means only one thing. And it means one thing to the people that it was manifested at. Zionism means genocide and death."
