This June marks a milestone I find hard to fully grasp: 44 years of active ministry, and of those 44 years, 40 we have walked together — María Fernanda and I, as life partners and partners in mission. What an extraordinary journey it has been! #cogwm
The church at Antioch didn’t send Paul and Barnabas alone. They sent them together — after worshiping, fasting, and discerning as a community (Acts 13:1-3). That is the model. That is the way. #cogwm
Africa: Amazing Leadership Summit in Lusaka, Zambia
Leaders from 48 nations gathered to celebrate what God is doing across the Continent. Under the leadership of Field Directors Peter & Debbie Thomas, the group enjoyed a week of conferences led by U.S. pastors from South Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, West Virginia, and Tennessee. Bishop Dr. Mark Williams brought powerful messages during the evening services. Thank you to the CoG World Missions team for facilitating the logistics, and to the American pastors who invested in this important event. #cogwm
Every military campaign fails when supply lines collapse. Missionary sending is a long-term logistical commitment. It requires the funding of deployment, ongoing support, member care, family sustainability, field training, and re-entry. #cogwm
Crossing geographic, linguistic, and cultural frontiers cannot be sustained by institutional momentum. It requires the ongoing fullness of the Holy Spirit. A defensive church can function on programs; a sending church must be empowered. #cogwm
Africa-bound! 🌍 We’re heading to Lusaka, Zambia — to meet with church leadership and stir a sending movement: African churches mobilizing missionaries to reach other nations across the continent and beyond. #cogwm
Last Saturday, Pentecostal Theological Seminary graduated 185 students — 101 Hispanic and 79 women. A powerful sign of what God is doing in and through the Latin American Church of God. To God be the glory! #cogwm
🧐#cogwm
We have an amazing team behind the scenes at World Missions — people few know, yet they are the ones who make God’s work known to many. A true example of humility, excellence, and servant-hearted dedication. 🙌🌍 #cogwm
