🚨 NEW: Pensioner wears burqa in court to deny concealing identity at Portsmouth protest.

• Timothy Miller, 76, from Hedge End, appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court dressed in a burqa and carrying a handbag while denying a charge of concealing his identity.

• He is accused of wearing full Islamic dress at an anti-migrant demonstration in the city on 12 September, where police had imposed a ban on face coverings.

• Miller entered a not guilty plea and claimed he was observing Islam, studying the religion, and had never been asked to remove the veil during the protest.

• He told the district judge the arrest was unlawful and argued that one law should apply to everyone.

• The case has been listed for trial at the same court on 16 February.

Various members of those appalling Conservative governments have labelled Restore Britain extremists or whatever else.

Rees-Mogg, Nadine Dorries, Boris Johnson and some.

My view? What they inflicted on our country was the real extremist policy.

Unfettered immigration from the third world, COVID lockdowns, vaccine passports, record taxes, outrageous debt, the spread of DEI.

A betrayal, on so many levels.

They had the majority, they failed - astonishingly, many are now helping to lead Reform.

And then those same people have the cheek to insult and abuse Restore Britain?
