Transfer of wealth to poorer countries, ppl can feel good "saving the planet", climate academics increased their status, which in the 70s was in the back room, more govt control taxing air etc etc

@_baklon @wil_da_beast630 For about half of earths life 4 B years, there was no ice at the poles. If you are at the top of the record, temp could stay the same for 10 years, but it would be the hottest decade recorded.

@_baklon @wil_da_beast630 Yes its been warming since 1850, long before CO2 was an issue. From 1400-1850 was the little ice age colder. Temp thermometers recordings started say 1880's so since it is getting warmer, we will be at the top of the record so it is the warmest year "recorded"

@_baklon @wil_da_beast630 Thats called weather not climate. Climate change is over minimum 25-30 year period. When you look at floods, droughts hurricanes etc there is no upward trend. You have been fooled to look at every extreme weather event as being due to "climate change". Its not.
