The healthcare industry’s open enrollment season is almost here. I know what that season feels like for a lot of families. You sit down with the numbers, you look at what changed, and you ask whether the care you actually want is still within reach. That question is why we built America’s HealthShare.
Our monthly email is about the choices we’re working to keep open: regenerative medicine, functional and precision care, naturopathic and chiropractic care, advanced screenings, and precision integrative cancer care. We also look at what’s happening around us— ACA selections down, premiums up, Medicare Advantage changes on the horizon — and what that means if you are 65 or older.
The story that stayed with me is from Dr. John Oertle’s latest War Room interview. A nasal polyp removal quoted at $90,000. The same procedure, in the same city, available for $6,000. That is not a talking point. That is a family who almost paid for a system that was never built around them.
If you are weighing your options this fall, I hope you will read it. And if you are already with us, thank you. This community only works because people choose to share one another’s needs.
This is not insurance. It is neighbors taking responsibility for one another.

I’ve spent my career at the intersection of technology and mission, leading work in cloud infrastructure, advising executives and policymakers, and supporting organizations that prioritize human dignity.
Today I serve as President of America’s HealthShare, where we’re building a transparent, member-driven health sharing community that puts families back in charge of their healthcare decisions, not bureaucrats or middlemen.
Being a husband and father of 8, it is a personal mission of mine to put my own family and all American families in control of their health by emphasizing the importance of personal responsibility, price transparency, and real choice. We strongly believe in restoring dignity to how Americans manage their health.
I’m looking forward to connecting here, sharing practical insights on health freedom and values-aligned technology, and working alongside others who want to build something better.
From @DavidGLejeune, President of America's HealthShare:
"Families deserve healthcare options that are transparent, affordable, and patient-focused.
America's HealthShare was built to restore freedom and put individuals back in charge of their healthcare choices."

The healthcare system has grown more complex, more expensive, and more restrictive.
We’re building something different at @AmericasHshare: a health sharing community rooted in freedom and mutual responsibility.

There’s a lot of conversation about what AI and new tech will mean for healthcare. As my colleague Dr. @JohnOertle recently shared, the goal isn’t to replace the patient-physician relationship.
It’s to give both better information so they can make better decisions together, earlier detection, more personalized care, and a stronger focus on prevention.
Dr. Oertle has some thoughtful perspective on where healthcare could be headed. Definitely worth a read:https://t.co/BL2nVXVqdT

July was a milestone month for @AmericasHShare!

RFK Jr. just announced a HUGE $102 million investment to expand America’s Health Center Program.
The goal is to reward centers that actually improve patients’ health, not just treat them.
“I’m announcing the Trump administration is investing more than $102 million to expand America’s Health Center Program.”
“This is the biggest investment in at least 20 years.”
“This investment will support a 158 new and existing healthcare centers and establish 415 new sites.”
“And bring comprehensive primary care to nearly 1 million additional Americans.”
“We can no longer measure success based upon how much money that we spend.”
“We have to base it upon the services that we deliver and the outcomes that we demonstrate.”
This is a great, positive look at health sharing — and it explains exactly why so many Americans are joining us at America’s HealthShare.
Some extracts:
- “Healthshares empower members to shop for care. By avoiding the $5,000 MRI at a hospital and choosing the $500 MRI at a clinic, the community saves money, and the member’s initial unshareable amount, the amount they pay out-of-pocket, remains low."
- "Employees value freedom. Insurance locks them into networks, whereas healthshares allow participants to see any doctor they want. When you give an employee their doctor back, your internal boss NPS goes through the roof."

The story of America’s founding is often reduced to a handful of familiar dates and famous documents.
Yet the birth of the United States was the result of years of growing tension, difficult choices, and extraordinary sacrifice. Men and women from every walk of life risked their lives to secure the promise of self-government for future generations.
That same revolutionary spirit lives on at America’s HealthShare.

RFK Jr. says service members LOVE the new Real Food being served in military dining halls.
“I was at the Stackhouse Bistro…. They were getting about 300-400 soldiers in there a day.”
“Two-thirds of the food was being thrown out.”
“Now they’re getting 4,000-5,000 soldiers in there every day.”
“None of the food is thrown out.”
“Robert Irvine is a genius.”
“He’s got all of those skills that we need to transform our military food program and make it align with the new food pyramid.”
