I am moved by their endorsement because I have made sustainable solutions to our climate crisis my top issue in Los Angeles and Sacramento. The fight for climate equity, including eliminating greenhouse gases and micro plastics is an effort that will make our planet healthier

I was hit by a car while skateboarding when I was younger and nearly lost my arm. And as someone who bikes on major LA streets, I know firsthand that it’s absolutely unsafe.
I had the privilege of drafting the Sunset4All motion, council file #22-1072, back in 2022. The proposal will create protected bike lanes on Sunset Blvd, one of the most dangerous streets in Los Angeles, and will also make it safer for pedestrians and transit riders.
Today, and every day, there is still much work to be done. Together, we honor his legacy by working each and every day to uplift and empower our communities, and each other.
