@SirRobertHowell As far as I know I’m your only connection to CL, which would mean that any narrative you’d engaged in before this tweet would have had to include me and our conversations. You’re right, I made an inference. I’m happy to be wrong.
@SirRobertHowell I did. As you said, the word “now” denotes time in a particular narrative. It seemed as if your tweet affirmed a narrative about my church that you’d engaged in prior to the tweet. It’s exactly because of our previous conversations that I was especially hurt by it.
@SirRobertHowell The “now” implies more than just a general inquiry but an affirmation of the tweet’s slanderous accusation. It implies you are aware of a history of such teaching. So, no it isn’t acceptable... Unless your intention was to affirm the accusation.
If Exodus was only about getting out of Egypt, we wouldn’t have the final 25 chapters. But it isn’t just about getting OUT of Egypt. It’s about getting TO Sinai. Not just freedom- but freedom found in obedience under the right master.
Is it that hard to understand that if it benefits the rich and powerful while making life more difficult for the poor and vulnerable, it contradicts everything Jesus taught?

Once you realize that everything in creation is a metaphor for something true about God then you understand that the purpose of life is not pleasure, not power, but understanding.

Everybody else in the world mourning the loss of #FixerUpper. Meanwhile, Season 4 just dropped on Hulu! 🙌🏽 Far as I’m concerned these are brand new episodes. And I have at least two more years with the Gaines’s. 🤗
