@NHLRussell Maybe the Kings’ ownership isn’t interested in winning but rather is more interested in asset value, leading to the retention of a less than competent management team. Maybe.
@NHLRussell Despite claims by certain Kings’ “homer” journalists, maybe the Kings’ Yanetti isn’t a “genius.” Maybe the Kings are not so expert at developing draft picks.
@liontamer18 It’s the Luc, Blake player development formula. Punish failure but never reward success. It matters not whether a player was a 1st or a 7th. In another system, Clarke is on pace for his 3rd consecutive 30 goal season. Hopefully, Thomas is not the new Arty.
@MarcelAndRogie Luc, Blake and Bergavin are clearly charter members of the Mensa Society. Good thing they didn’t trade one of the best young defenseman in the NHL in xchange for Fiala and then tie their hands for years to come. I mean, that would be disastrous. See you in the penalty box.
@LAKINGSGIRLIES Kings erased themselves. 10 years of playoff absence/failure. Failed rebuild based on a poorly conceived “plan.” Kings will reappear in LA following a wholesale mgmt change (from Luc to Hiller) and their next rebuild under competent leadership.
@OliverFiglin1 Kings’ mgmt - I guess it could be worse. But if they are not
planning on giving Thomas a real shot (see Arty), the Kings should trade him. Thomas is talented and deserves to find his way into an NHL lineup.
