No one knows better who the best candidate for District Attorney is more than the prosecutors who work in the District Attorney’s Office.
With over 25 years of experience, John McKinney has the overwhelming respect of his colleagues. John has been a public critic of Gascon long before he was elected DA of Los Angeles. If you are looking for the DA’s office to bounce back quickly upon Gascon’s departure, vote for the candidate that they believe in and want to work for.
Gascon only got 6 votes!!!
VOTE John McKinney for Los Angeles DA.
I have spent meaningful time on Skid Row, listening to the stories of the unhoused and engaging with organizations dedicated to solving homelessness. Having participated in the recent two-night homeless count, I've witnessed firsthand the urgent need for compassionate action.
As your next District Attorney, I am committed to tackling this crisis head-on, not through punishment, but by working hand-in-hand with stakeholders to find dignified solutions for getting our neighbors off the streets.
Let's remember: being without a home is not a crime, yet it's also not a shield for unlawful acts. Together, we can restore safety, dignity, and humanity to every corner of Los Angeles. #mckinney4la. #johnmckinneyforlada #McKinneyForDA #CompassionateJustice #LAHomelessCrisis
Here is a shareable summary of my background, experience, and beliefs. Please repost and share with friends and others who are interested in learning more about the candidates running for LA District Attorney in 2024.
I stand on 25 years of excellence as a frontline prosecutor. No other candidate in the race for DA comes close to the time I’ve spent successfully prosecuting a broad array of violent crimes and supporting victims on the front line.
No other candidate has my unique personal background that prepared me to overcome adversity early in life and understand the pathology of criminal activity.
No other candidate worked in the critically important Major Crimes Division, of the District Attorney’s Office where I spent 10 years prosecuting murder cases so notorious they rocked the County of Los Angeles and made headlines across the country.
No other candidate has worked as a Deputy In Charge of supervising the prosecution of misdemeanor crimes that in the aggregate have a major impact on the orderliness of our communities and our quality of life.
I am not a typical politician. I haven’t spent years grooming myself for public office. I do not come from a wealthy family. I am simply the people’s prosecutor. I put my career and the work I love to do at risk over the past two and half years by highlighting the failed leadership of the current District Attorney. I was retaliated against in my fight for victims, but that will not stop me.
I am committed to restoring the DA’s office to being a highly functioning institution. I will fully embrace the District Attorney’s public safety responsibility while simultaneously delivering on our values of fair and unbiased treatment under the law.
I will spearhead new and innovative programs designed to steer young men and women away from criminal activity and gangs and guide them along a path of responsible personal development. I know better than any other what it takes to navigate the minefield of crime in our inner-cities because I accomplished it.
The future is NOW! If you want real change and meaningful reforms that deliver proportionality in criminal outcomes without sacrificing lives and businesses, support me, John McKinney to be the 44th District Attorney of Los Angeles County.
