Same goes for people paying banks a monthly fee to deposit $$. Also, the mining difficulty adjustment goes down if hash rate drops; making it profitable again.

@JWWeatherman_ Genuine bitcoin. That's indeed the most important job of a node. I think we both agree nodes play an important role in identifying what is/is not genuine bitcoin. So did Satoshi. Without nodes, then HODLers become servants to a certain degree, and similar to a fiat HODLer.

@JonCooke17 @Crypto_Core Litecoin is inflation on top of Bitcoin. That is its sole purpose until it reaches near zero value. It has to advertise lower on-boarding fees to the LN, to market itself and make it attractive, because you're losing value every second you transfer wealth to it.
