@built_to_build 😂 I think it certainly can, but it just requires more handholding. I try to review every line of code written by AI, and Claude Opus makes its fair share of errors.

@built_to_build Yeah, completely agree. Cursor lets you make surgical changes and vibe code very efficiently and safely. Claude's workflow is pretty much suited only to vibe coding, since you can't rollback changes.

AI music tools like Suno and tools like Sora create complex art from almost no input. The AI is doing the real creating while humans just pull the slot lever.

It’s not creativity, it’s curation. As we depend on this, we lose the risk and the invention that make art human, the struggle, the surprise, the sense of self that comes from making something only you could have made.

There’s a place and time for AI, when it’s used to generate ideas, remove toil, or help you execute faster. But using AI to completely generate art is lame. It replaces the artist’s voice with a machine’s pattern recognition.
