I'm a Christian, husband, father, and home church minister in Kansas City. My focus is on equipping Christians for home church ministry that is faithful to God.
@UziCryptoo Toyota retains value more than any other car. This applies to pretty much all other brands. However, drop to a 5 or 10 year old Toyota, and it's still a good deal.
@annhafter@Ariszn12 Yes, you absolutely can. I typed this question in, scrolled down past the AI answers, and here are the individual search results. It might be annoying to have to scroll, but, it's also not a big deal. Alternatively, you can use DuckDuckGo, which has an AI-off feature.
@SaveWestern_Civ Before telling low-income citizens, elderly, and disabled people that we cannot afford to provide their promised benefits, we should examine the enormous resources devoted to military power and war, as well as the tremendous wealth that goes untaxed by the ultra rich.
@HeidiL_RN Simple: they cut school budgets and support from educators. They treat school teachers like an afterthought. They are the ones who say stupid things like "teachers are overpaid!" If the Republican party would provide robust support for educators, things would be different.
@5SolasMissy The problem is that stripping them of their context is, in fact, conforming them to a specific theological conclusions. Saying "don't explain the Bible" would be like me saying that I should execute any woman who knees a man in the groin. Texts require correct interpretation.
@rsosa8 And this is why we home-school. We can do what's best for our kids. When they need more work, we can assign it, but when they don't, they can enjoy life.
@GrayBeardPCG Because you're part of the community and benefit from future educated workers who are in school rather than roaming the streets committing crime.
@JustinBerkobien Respectfully, it's both. To excuse the former while condemning the latter is to reject the authority by which any standard can be constructed in the first place.
@KatyLMA I think this sentiment is one better kept to oneself. I understand personal annoyances, but, there's a Biblical case for keeping those to yourself (Consider Ro 14:22; 1 Co 10:23โ24; Pr 17:27; Ti 3:9). I think these should govern our speech even on X.
@_melgibson1_ You forgot "rampant greed." Christians who don't share the concerns of Christ are soon to reject him, and western Christians don't see greed as sin (most can't even define it or point to objective cases of greed).
Paul had in view those imposing the law on believers. But, the principle can be extrapolated to those who impose their own Christian traditions on us as well. It's one thing to have traditions, but another to impose them as mandatory.
I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them.

@alexamazov Look for a new job. Keep your current job while you look. Check the humanity of the companies you interview with, and when you find one that is measurably better than your current job, leave and tell them why.
@WallStreetMav No. Instead, pass a law that says any congress that fails to pass a balanced budget is ineligible for reelection. That saves $2.7 billion and we'll never have a deficit again.
@Backupjoepags1 This is a mid-terms strategy. It's like the "stimulus checks" and other measures Trump has proposed. He's trying to pump his base. He has the opposite intention. Don't believe him.
@Favwontmiss I think this is where people need to be careful, because "greed" is common to all of us, we just don't necessarily have the means to exercise it in the same extreme manner as billionaires. But, have you ever been okay, gotten a raise, and increased lifestyle? That's how.
