@ianbremmer Totally agree. However, do you think the vast majority of MAGA supporters could even point to the broad continental vicinity of Hungary on a map, let alone even have a vaguely accurate view what its leaders actually stand for? Critical thinking is in increasingly short supply
@ianbremmer Agree although I would argue this is nothing new from Trump. I sense your criticism of Trump has become more pointed in recent weeks. Is his prosecution of the Iran war the straw that broke the camel's back?
@WhiteHouse The one time Article 5 was triggered (and rightly so) was at the behest of US in the aftermath of the 9/11 and NATO nations joined the coalition in Afghanistan along with other western allies to support US. Just remember that. Doesn't fit with the Trump narrative though, does it?
#ITInsidePolitics To what extent do you believe Michéal Martin has been a pivotal influence in the revival of Fianna Fáil's fortunes after its arguable nadir 14 years ago and how do you foresee his role in the future success of the party given his advancing age?
@ianbremmer Ian, I respect and regularly follow your analysis and given Maduro's track record and the scale of the protests, I suspect this is more than likely to be the case but is this merely a suspicion you have or do you have conclusive evidence to point to yet?
What I find so ironic about this is that his supporters are the ones who love to remind everyone that America is free. This would literally be the opposite of that. If America votes for him, they will deserve everything they get. He is now a well known quantity. No excuse...
Trump: “Get out and vote just this time. You won't have to do it anymore. Four more years it will be fixed. It'll be fine. You won't have to vote anymore...In four years you don't have to vote again. We'll have it fixed so good your not gonna have to vote.”
@Niall_Boylan As much as I admire Michael O'Leary and Ryanair, he is frighteningly ill informed here. Short term weather models are of course much less accurate than long term studies of global climate trends. The man has a vested interest in playing down changes to the climate ffs...
@RobertKennedyJr Do you think it's possible that, objectively, he may actually have committed a crime? The evidence was pretty damning in support of a case of electoral fraud. Hence the guilty verdict on all counts.
@mattyglesias Objective reality doesn't get through to voters anymore. People are happy to safely live inside their algorithmically curated social media echo chambers, continuously telling them what they want to hear. It's why society is so polarized on every issue. A disaster for democracy..
@DubCityCouncil The Howth Road/ Fairview junction is an absolute disaster area. You have one lane of traffic backed up for over a kilometre, with a 10 second green light. It's been that way for over 3 years of roadworks. You would not get that anywhere else in the world.

@MattWalshBlog Well of course you think that. You are a conservative ideologue. If you were in any way objective, you would acknowledge that your guy is also accusatory and hyper partisan. The positive shift in sentiment among Independents in polling was the indicator of speech's effectiveness.
Absolutely mind-blowing. This technology will blur the lines between the real and the virtual in irreversible ways and with consequences that we have not even begun to consider. Exciting yet terrifying.

Prompt: “Beautiful, snowy Tokyo city is bustling. The camera moves through the bustling city street, following several people enjoying the beautiful snowy weather and shopping at nearby stalls. Gorgeous sakura petals are flying through the wind along with snowflakes.”
@elonmusk It is simply incredible to me that this so-called journalist talks about Western propaganda in a part of the world where you actually have freedom of press when he is actively playing into authoritarian state propaganda in a country where freedom of speech can get you locked up.
