Everton fans demand “transparency and fairness after disproportionate sanctions”. @EFC_AdvisoryBoard issues strong statement “acting on behalf of all Evertonians” calling on “all football authorities to urgently review sanctioning criteria in light of the hugely disproportionate penalties imposed on Chelsea and Everton.
“These recent disciplinary outcomes raise serious concerns about consistency,
proportionality, and the integrity of the regulatory framework in place in English
football, as demonstrated by both the Premier League and the Football Association.
“Whilst all those fans we represent acknowledge that the cases involving Chelsea and Everton are not comparable in terms of the natures of the offences, this does not undermine the key issue of clear and obvious inconsistency in the outcome and the punishments imposed on both clubs.” (Chelsea, in mitigation, self-reported issues from a previous regime). #EFC graphic below from Everton FAB 👇
Amazon’s customers paid the extra costs of the tariffs, but Amazon, which is owned by Trump’s billionaire ally, gets the $640 million refund.
Do you see the scam yet?
NatWest Bank quarterly pre-tax profits surge 29% to £2.3bn.
It received £45.5bn bailout after the 2008 crash.
Last yr, ahead of bumper profits, govt sold its stake, appeased the City.
All banks are profiteering, closing branches.
Must levy windfall tax

Evertonians were dismissed as tinfoil hatted lunatics by many for suggesting the Premier League might have an agenda and by extension treat clubs differently
Turns out, that was pretty much spot on
It’s like discovering the moon landings really were faked
Everton have an overspend of 19m due to payments related to building a new stadium, investing in the area, giving locals jobs etc etc. NO SPORTING ADVANTAGE.
Chelsea give backhanders to agents to get their players to Chelsea over other clubs and with those players Chelsea win MULTIPLE trophies but we are told, by the same people who deducted points from Everton and ordered them to pay 40m to Burnley that Chelsea had NO SPORTING ADVANTAGE
Make it make sense
"It’s some result for them if you consider the scale of offending – financial chicanery, dodgy deals, cheating, whatever you wish to call it – that was brought before the Football Association without, ultimately, leading to anything more than a £10million fine."
Corruption at its very finest.
It's interesting Everton's financial breach saw the Premier League suggest a 12 point deduction. A panel ruled the sanction at -10 before an appeal said -6
74 charges for Chelsea saw the suggested sanction of -15, greater than Everton's, but it was then worked down to 0 points
In Thatchers own words “privatisation of the energy industry will make us the envy of Europe” Thanks Margaret, you made a few people very rich and the rest of us much poorer.
Oh my god…
She’s had an absolute mare here
I genuinely felt for her at one point
Apparently Farage was not ‘politically active’ when CEO of Reform
Maaaaaaaaate.
A sad day but few care, especially the British right obsessed by the ECHR and its faux threats to British sovereignty. Today we lost ITV to US media group Comcast and EasyJet to US private credit company, Castlelake. Britain is ever more a vassal economy in thrall to the USA.
Portes "Theres a lot of nonsense talked, including on Sky, about the spiralling welfare bill.. as a proportion of our national income.. its lower than it was 15yrs ago & its pretty much back to what it was under Thatcher.. this idea its out of control is just wrong"
Spot on!
The UK's grid is doing something pretty remarkable today.

We're generating more electricity than we need, exporting the surplus, and wholesale prices have gone negative. Clean energy isn't just about cutting emissions - it's reshaping the economics of electricity.
