My life has always been full of storms but the interesting thing is that I am and have always been a giant slayer.
I am never afraid to face my giants no matter how fiercesome they look because I am more than conquerors!
🚨Reece James on Enzo Fernández joining Manchester City:
🗣️ Reece James: “I actually laughed when I saw the news. Enzo was one of the loudest players when Mason Mount left Chelsea for Manchester United. He used to tease him about leaving all the time.
“Then Enzo wanted his own move. First it was Real Madrid, but Bernardo Silva got that opportunity. Suddenly, Manchester City became the destination because Bernardo was leaving.
“So I had to ask him, ‘Wait, weren’t you the one giving Mason all that stick for leaving Chelsea?’
“He just laughed and said, ‘Football changes quickly.’
“Fair enough, but you can’t spend months mocking someone for joining a rival and then walk through the same door yourself. Now he’s gone to City to replace Bernardo, so I suppose we’ll see if he can live up to all that talk.
“I’ve got nothing against him personally, but when City come to Stamford Bridge, I’m definitely reminding him of those conversations.”
It's funny how some fans see football.
For example, most people don't have a problem with an Enzo-Caicedo pivot, but have a physicality problem with a Barco-Caicedo pivot.
Defensively, Barco is better than Enzo, more intense and more athletic, but less physical. He just needs time to adapt to the tactics and the pace of the league. If Enzo can adapt, Barco can do it better.
I believe a lot in that guy. He will surprise people. I wanted Camara, but without him, Barco will benefit, and I would love to watch him develop.
