Link to just-published Purdue Papers, for which I had the honor of serving as editor and commentator. This is a searchable digital file of virtually every pleading filed at the Supreme Court in connection with the Purdue Pharma bankruptcy. https://t.co/7Nsbui22lS. @abiworld
@BillRochelle This is an excellent summary about a key case discussing the requirement for good faith in filing and the Texas Two-Step Divisive merger statute. Aldrich Pump may prove to be a blockbuster.
“I recently had an article published in @abiworld’s #Bankruptcy Brief reflecting on some of the key points of the #SCOTUS oral argument in Purdue Pharma.”
WeWork wants to reject approx. 60 leases. Are members “tenants” of commercial property and entitled to continued occupancy ? Does rejection of prime lease terminate all subservient interests, See David Kuney’s Retail and Office Bankruptcy: published by ABI.@ABIWorld.
My new ABI article summarizes the Purdue briefs which supports the petitioner. https://t.co/9M7YqLZZGg. @abiworld My amicus brief is at https://t.co/FvKLsPi3Lu
The Clerk is directed to assign the resulting appeal(s) to the panel of Judges Shwartz, Restrepo, and Ambro once briefing is completed.

LTL's request for direct appeal to 3d circuit was granted Oct. 20.ORDER (SHWARTZ, RESTREPO and AMBRO, Circuit Judges) The foregoing Petition for Permission to Appeal pursuant filed by Petitioners Ad Hoc Committee of Supporting Counsel and LTL Management LLC, is granted.
Decades of devastation to families & communities fueled by greed.
Not the most traditional #SCOTUS brief, but this is not traditional chapter 11 case.

@BillRochelle@abiworld LTL III? Judge Kaplan invited the parties to continue discussing settlement. talc claimants circulated a proposed order that includes a provision that would bar a third bankruptcy filing for at least six months. Judge Kaplan declined but it seemed key given LTL's conduct.
