Making voting harder hurts shift workers, people working long hours and anyone who can't afford to spend hours waiting in line. We should be making it easier, not harder, for eligible voters to participate in our democracy.

.@RepThomasMassie & I achieved the two most consequential victories of Trump's 2nd term.
The Epstein Transparency Act exposed the cover up for sexual abuse.
Our Iran WPR, introduced months ago, led to passage last night.
Bipartisanship for the people, not the establishment.
Some members of Congress are attempting to overturn DC law. This is about public safety and transparency, trying to cover up violent crime by masked federal agents in DC against unarmed people. This is possible because of DC’s lack of Home Rule, that is what we must work to change. I’m going to keep fighting this now, and will continue this fight as your Delegate on Capitol Hill. #JoinRobertWhite
@charlesallen got it right and yes @Janeese4DC is a class act and the desperation of the kitchen sink strategy is how McDuffie wants to be remembered doesn't suit him just sad really
@SohrabAhmari Is Hawley signing on to Gompers' definition of "More"?
"More school houses and less jails"
"More justice and less revenge"
"More books and less arsenals"
"More constant work and less crime"
"More leisure and less greed"
Election Day is just two weeks away.
I’m supporting @Janeese4DC because she has the vision and will to challenge what's not working to move DC forward. I joined my friend in Ward 5 yesterday to make that case.
Join me in voting for progress on Election Day.
White Republicans SHOULD be insulted Vivek Ramaswamy’s racist rhetoric. His slurs on Black women assume White Republicans:
1) are all racist,
2) will consider a Brown enough to be Black man a fellow racist, &
3) won’t notice he insults both their intelligence & integrity.
@factpostnews It is fitting that he will lose to a woman who is a physician & public health expert. No small accomplishment for a Republican to lose statewide in Ohio, but Ramaswamy can do it.
With #DCision26 quickly approaching, one of the central fault lines in this election has become increasingly clear.
Some pundits have sought to frame the choice as one between pragmatic moderation and progressive — or even socialist — politics.
The implication is obvious: that bold ideas are somehow foreign to Washington’s political tradition. That “progressivism” is an import. That “socialism” is something brought here recently by activists, transplants, or ideological movements disconnected from the city’s history.
The problem is that Washington’s history tells almost exactly the opposite story.
The left did not come to DC.
In many ways, it built DC.
