I’m fine. Holly and I are fine.
But hospital stays still come with bills, and I’d rather work to pay them than make it weird.
So I accidentally gave my gallbladder its own marketing campaign.

Something new just crawled out of the front office 🐟
The Mississippi Mud Monsters are fired up to welcome Jason Brown as Account Executive and Community Relations and Brayan De La Rosa as Operations Manager.
Jason brings a background in public service, sales, and community outreach, and he’s ready to get out into the community, shake hands, and help us create moments that feel bigger than baseball.
Brayan has been part of Trustmark Park since 2023, starting on the grounds crew and now stepping into the front office. He knows every inch of this place and now he gets to help run it.
More energy. More personality. More people who understand what this place is supposed to feel like when the lights come on and the gates open.
Baseball lives here. It just got a little weirder.

BIG NEWS FROM THE SWAMP.
Introducing https://t.co/UhWdCnTNxC - the official online team shop of the Mississippi Mud Monsters.
This isn’t just a store. It’s the official supply shop of Mud Monsters weird. Hats, jerseys, shirts, and the kind of gear that makes people stop you in the grocery store and ask, “What in the world is a Mud Monster?”
We’ve added new items, new brands, and we’ve completely upgraded the online shopping experience with professional product photos so you can actually see the detail and quality of every item before it shows up at your door.
And we’re just getting started. A LOT more new gear is on the way before Opening Day on May 7.
The swamp is expanding.

In a move that has absolutely stunned the baseball world, the Mississippi Mud Monsters have signed 41-year-old Assistant General Manager David Kerr to a pitching contract for the 2026 season.
Kerr features a 42 mph knuckleball, a fastball that legally qualifies as a changeup, and nearly two decades of professional baseball experience in clubhouses and front offices across America.
He will serve in a dual role this season, working in the front office during the day and being available out of the bullpen in emotionally complex situations.

@bensbiz As a kid from Akron, the best was the Galley Boys.
But so far, every single one has been right.
I keep waiting for them to do a root beer stand themed one.
