The Education Committee is meeting now to discuss education funding & the school funding formula. We must fully fund our public schools, ensure our teachers are well-compensated & expand pre-K access. Thank you to all school staff who sacrifice every day to educate our children.
This morning I discussed this year's budget during the Appropriations committee. I will work to make sure our public school system and essential services get the funding they deserve. It is more important than ever that funding accurately represents the needs of Hoosiers.
