This man is a troll who says that any election won by Democrats is "stolen." He also oversees national election security for Homeland Security.
He's been pushing the ridiculous "California fraud" narrative.
He studied at Moscow State University. 1/
@BasedMikeLee Maybe u now realize the foolishness of govt promoting one faith over others. So, when the govt insist we are a Christian nation, they r basing that statement on their understanding of what Christian is, and is not. Itโs far superior for the govt to leave religion to religions.
@FrankLuntz No chance it will be cut. In 2032 appx 45% of all voters will be 60 or older. That group will be 50% more likely to vote than people under 30. So they will make up a majority of the electorate. So, no possibility Congress or President allow a dollar reduction.
@dangainor Obama had great accomplishments and some disappointments. Either way,the question of whether change is good or bad is almost always determined over a longer arc than a few decades.
Ur comments seem to often be driving to an ideological outcome. What kind of journalist were you?
@neoavatara@EWErickson If it is true that he was ordered to portray Goode and the protestors as he states here, that is eye raising to say the least.
We should see those emails.
@5K10KMarathon@dangainor@EWErickson Not what I wrote. I wrote that
Clinton won southern states. And itโs obviously trueโ6 of them. And he could not have without conservatives, people who proved the iron lawโthat voters donโt really care about anything other than outcome and backfill outrage or excuses, R,D, I.
@Houseofyogi Itโs b/c Illinois would not come up with $1B, tax incentives, and give control of a new stadium to the team. The branding value was not enough incentive, same for St. L, Oakland, LA, Balt., on and on.
Money and control, another form of money, decides it all. Same as it ever was.
@WarMonitor3 I donโt think that is established as true unless there is evidence not publicly well known.
The evidence is the bank is phasing out people for wildlife, due to popular response.
But,sad and a mistake.
No Churchill means the UK makes a deal in 1940 with the Nazis, Hitler wins.
@LauraRbnsn A few days ago, I saw a post by @SenMikeLee referring to @jamestalarico as a heretic. I hope now he realizes that it is very easy to label others as heretics and that he probably owes Talarico an apology.
@BasedMikeLee To use your recent term against Talarico, mainline Christians think you are, charitably, a heretic.
Your question underscores the point that, whether itโs Talarico, or you, both of you deserve better than to be called heretics or worse for your religious beliefs.
@EWErickson Itโs hard today to even fathom such grace, devotion to our common principles. Not perfect, but devoted to the common good as he earnestly saw it, and not driven by his own petty, degenerate desires.
@dangainor All fair game b/c it is, but pretextual. My proof is folks express outrage against the guy in Maine, but claim ignorance abt the guy in Texas, and vice versa.
The truth is control of Congress and the WH r what motivate most political public outrage. Our hypocrisy is the news
@dangainor I am asking how you compare support for Paxton before the primary?
Platner may be a lot of things, but he is not a Nazi. Very, very few people are and they do not deny it. Naziโs donโt hide, and mock and belittle anyone asking them to stop their use of offensive symbols, words.
@ColMoeDavis@JWVegas1 Most people get their news on social media. That is a sewer, actually 2 sewers in silos. And merciless. No 1 double standards. Itโs 2 double standards. If u mean traditional newspapers their readership is so tiny the vast majority of people have not read a page of it in 10 years
@FrankLuntz Our tolerance for behavior we would normally shy away from in every important aspect of our lives we tolerate in politics. And so all the clutching of pearls, shock, is manafuctured outrage b/c we only mean it when itโs a political adversary. Itโs about control of the Senate.
@5K10KMarathon@dangainor@EWErickson Itโs a fact that Clinton won southern states, and therefore, ipso facto, won voters way beyond his political base. This is my point, and to explain the endemic broad indifference to any conduct that might otherwise offend us in real life outside politics. And itโs universal.
@EWErickson What nobody is saying is the basic truth. I hate beating a dead horse, but all that matters to both sides in this election is Control of Congress. We, as a general matter, will accept most any controversy, to change or keep Congress, depending on the view.
