Apartment prices in Kenya fell 3.0 percent year-on-year in Q1 2026, with the apartment price index declining to 88.7 from 91.5, even as the national Residential Property Price Index rose 4.8 percent to 118.4, driven by an 8.5 percent increase in standalone house prices to an index of 133.6.
Upper Nairobi and Nairobi Middle recorded the steepest apartment price declines, while outer Nairobi and other regions strengthened. The data is from the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics Q1 2026 RPPI.
