The Bank of England DELIBERATELY FIXED the fake "public vote" to remove ALL historical figures from bank notes & replace them with nature images
Freedom of Information requests by the Telegraph reveal the decision to remove historical figures was based on a "focus group" of a mere 119 people
The Bank LIED because it previously claimed the decision was based on a "public vote".
In truth, however, even this vote was FIXED. Instead of having HISTORY v NATURE, the bank deliberately split the "history" category into 3 sections: historical events, historical figures, architecture & landmarks.
That was the only way that "nature" could win.
However, of course bank notes always combine at least two of those history categories. For example: Churchill & Parliament or Wellington & Waterloo.
The Bank's actions are indefensible and questions should be asked in the House.
The Bank of England has clearly been captured by progressive woke ideology. A visit to the Bank of England with its permanent exhibition on slavery makes that clear
This is part of the wider war on British history. It's an attempt to create a NEW BRITAIN, based on ridiculous myths that "Diversity Built Britain" and that Britain has always been multicultural.
Remember: the Bank of England issued a 50p coin (held aloft by Rishi Sunak) which was imprinted with the nonsensical statement: "Diversity Built Britain"
Anyone who lived behind the Iron Curtain will find all of this eerily and scarily familiar.
The pulling down of statues, the renaming of streets and schools, the rewriting of history, denigrating heroes, changing bank notes etc....these were all tactics of the communists.
Severing the connection between a people and their history is the best way to demoralise a society and prepare them for the imposition of new myths.
Me on @GBNews:
🚨🚨Wow. A bombshell moment.
Ed Miliband has just released the price that you're going to pay for offshore wind for the next twenty years.
£95/MWh in 2025 prices. The highest offshore wind price in a decade.
Ed will try to spin that this is cheap. It is not.
Gas power without a Carbon Tax is under £55.
Average electricity price last year (including the Carbon Tax) was roughly £80.
And that £95 for wind is just what we pay for the wind power itself. On top, you also have to pay for all the extra grid, paying wind farms to switch off, and having a very expensive backup power station on standby for a cold, windless day like we had just last week.
And to try and sweeten the deal for the wind developers, Ed has extended the contracts so we're now going to be locked into these prices for TWENTY YEARS.
By DESNZ’s own numbers the contract extension is worth 12% of the strike price to the wind developers, so a true comparison with last year's £82/MWh would be £102/MWh. Wind is getting significantly more expensive, not cheaper.
Ed is locking us into a 10% fixed-rate mortgage because he doesn’t want the volatility of being on a 4% variable.
He is cementing our uncompetitive electricity prices for even longer at a time when the world is becoming more unstable and we need cheap, reliable energy to compete.
Labour promised to cut your bills by £300. This was how Ed Miliband said he was going to do it.
But it has never been clearer that he cares more about his own clean power vanity project than he does about your energy bill.
The Labour government have completely lost control of illegal immigration and asylum.
The Home Office are using taxpayers money to pay staff bonuses to speed through asylum decisions.
I have written to Yvette Cooper to demand she urgently reviews and reverses this policy.
The small conveyancing firm that did Angela Rayner’s Hove house purchase say they gave her no tax advice — they’re not even solicitors and have no tax expertise.
The advisers who set up her trust (from where the Hove deposit came) say they were not involved in any aspect of the Hove purchase.
The tax barrister who said she’d underpaid stamp duty was only called in after the matter of how much she should pay became a matter of public controversy.
So from whom did the Deputy PM seek tax advice on the stamp duty she should pay on the Hove home?
Excellent. @PatrickChristys calls out Ed Miliband for proudly saying he's received "independent" advice from NESO who conveniently back up his ludicrous Net Zero plans.
Ed Miliband is the ONE person with significant control over NESO.
That's not independent. That's dodgy AF.
'One of the most divisive, dangerous speeches I think I've ever heard a politician do.'
Bev Turner slams Sir Keir Stamer for 'undermining the value of the term 'far-right'.
Remember back in 2013 when the SNP created Police Scotland and promised a world-class police service for the 21st century?
Well, guess what?
It's now a criminal's paradise.
If Keir Starmer browbeats the Speaker into breaching Parliamentary rules because he fears Muslim extremists will attack his MPs, what would he do in office to appease the same mob? Ban cartoons of Muhammad? Make disrespecting the Quran a hate crime? Repeal the Terrorism Act?
I've signed the motion of no confidence in Mr Speaker. This isn't personal: he's a decent man and I'm sure he thought he was doing the right thing yesterday. But Sir Lindsay allowed Labour to use the Islamist threat to change the way our democracy works. This is unacceptable. 1/
So many interventions on the floor of the House are pointless. Calls for an immediate ceasefire, and the like.
But this brilliant cri de coeur from Andrew Percy sets all that straight.
In one short speech, he encapsulates why Britain is nearing an ideological fork in the road.
Funny how the entire SNP mantra is that only people in Scotland should make decisions that affect Scotland yet its ok for them to order Israel how to conduct their affairs.
Why doesnt Flynn fly out to Israel and make his points there?
It's incredible how the people who were rightly horrified at the murder of Jo Cox are now so comfortable with MPs, including from Jo Cox's own party, being threatened with violence because it's for a "good cause" (and because of who is doing the threatening).
It's being widely reported that Keir Starmer pressured Lindsay Hoyle to break convention because Labour MPs are being threatened by Islamist extremists.
This doesn't let Hoyle off the hook by any means, he should have been impartial. But Keir Starmer put pressure on the Speaker to change the way our politics works because of extremist threats.
Instead of upholding democracy and doing the right thing, he capitulated to the mob.
Just think about that for a moment.
He sent out a message to a mob of extremists that threats yield influence.
Keir Starmer, our next PM, is doing exactly what the Met police have been doing since October 7th, which is to allow the extremists to win.
The implications of this should terrify absolutely everyone.
MPs fearing for their own lives trying to appease the braying mob. That's not how democracy is supposed to work.
If it was the far right making these threats, there would be uproar. But it's Islamists and the far left so apparently that's just fine.
The time to act is now.
“When you ignore the wishes of your core supporters, when you treat them with contempt, when you promise them one thing only to do something else entirely, they will soon find another political home.” - ‘Sunak is Sinking’: great analysis from @GoodwinMJ https://t.co/bojiv7Q4b4 @ConservativeDOr
Letter: Tam Dalyell was right!
Devolution was a gift to the most insular, infantile and unstable members of society and it has allowed them into positions where they can totally ruin the country.
