Royal Dornoch has unveiled a statue of Donald Ross & John Sutherland, capturing Ross’s 1899 departure to America. The statue is a tribute to the figures who helped put Dornoch and the Highlands firmly on the global golfing map.

A fitting new tribute has been unveiled at the entrance to our clubhouse.

A bronze statue of Donald Ross and John Sutherland captures the moment Ross left in 1899 to shape the game in America… thanks in no small part to Sutherland’s vision.
