Some of y'all are going to consider this heresy of the highest degree. It's a PITA to grade assignments late, but it's most certainly what's best for kids. PS- I also give them full credit for late work! GASP!!!!

If a student turns something in late, it doesn’t mean the student has less understanding of the content, assignments turned in on time doesn’t mean the student knows the content more.

A simple leadership tip: ‘If' a student learns should be more important than 'when.'

To have these ensembles, we need strong music programs meeting during the school day. When murmurs of cutting programs/relegating them to before/after school begin, speak up because your voice matters. #musiceducation needs ferocious advocates wherever funding decisions are made.
