@gpriestman1998@TheFirmBL_ Could be any combination up there really! Salah would work on the right of a two I think, don’t see him as this touchline hugging winger anymore who can beat a defender on both sides and would prefer to see him play much closer to goal to try and increase his goal threat again.
@gpriestman1998@TheFirmBL_ Without trying to sound like I’m playing FM or career mode think it’d be a midfield diamond and two up front with the lack of centre backs we’ve got currently. Still requires a ball playing centre back an a dictator type DM to sit in between gravenberch and Szoboszlai
@gpriestman1998@TheFirmBL_ In hindsight the players bought in don’t match the profiles of their predecessors. Never replaced the passing quality at the back and haven’t replaced the work rate lost up front. Still back them to come good but will require a change of system or more money to be spent.
@gpriestman1998 Think he’s one of the least of Liverpool’s concerns atm. Obvious issues in build up without TAA and winning duals/second balls. Tuesday night was Liverpool’s best performance in that regard and it was no coincidence Wirtz looked closer to the player we expected to see.
@LFCLaurie@SeanDOlfc What a horrendous take that is. Don’t disagree, he’s not been good enough but to say someone can’t improve at 25 is ridiculous. Salah and mane both joined Liverpool at 25. They both seemed to improve their finishing?
