@nytimes got it right where many others have missed the point. We have a strong, functioning housing market which has increased home values over 4% year over year. The big difference in 2023 has been the mix of new homes versus resales. New homes sales have increased to meet the buyer demand. Many of those sales have been in locations with a higher quality of life - warmer, less expensive, low tax, business friendly communities - like the ones we are proud to call
