We need to discuss, every time it´s possible, the meaning of words. Fascism is the main one. What is Fascism? It´s a colectivist ideology predicated on the notion that nations fight in a darwinistic way and the besy nations rise to the top. The way to achieve victory is to close ranks, kill individualism and free enterprise in favour of colectivism and directivism, and coalesce around a strong figure that is going to lead the nation to greateness. Because of it´s darwinistic vein, it believes that might makes right, so if it manages to force, bully or strongarm it´s position against any opposition, that´s a sign it´s right all along. It believes in the blank slate and that human beings can and should be social engineered towards the goal of the party. The party, and it´s leader, and the state are merged into the nation, making for the saying: “All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing agaisnt the state"

Eu sei que a resposta vai bugar a mente de muita gente, mas: integração racial.

Aqui não existe "sotaque de preto", "esporte de preto", "roupa de preto". etc.

De olho fechado, ouvindo alguém falar, você pode identificar se ela é carioca, ou baiana ou gaúcha, mas não pode indentificar se a pessoa é preta ou branca.

Casamento "interracial" não é um tabu ou assunto aqui - tanto que nem se usa a palavra, e basicamente todo mundo é meio pardo.

As maiores diferenças e preconceitos aqui são de situação econômica. Você poderia até alegar que as diferenças socioeconômicas têm um viés racial histórico e talz, mas isso é muito diferente do que acontece por exemplo nos EUA.

Aqui tanto um negro quanto um branco comem arroz com feijão, vão à igreja, jogam futebol, vestem as mesmas bermudas e calças jeans, etc. Até as estereotipadas "religiões de matriz africana" são mais praticadas por brancos que por pretos.

Infelizmente os movimentos raciais brasileiros estão lutando com todas as forças pra acabar com isso e importar o modelo americano, separando a sociedade em "coisas de branco" e "coisas de preto."

Another girl then called the police, prompting the boy to run onto a train, before he was arrested by officers. He didn't try to help her. Didn't bother to call an ambulance. First thing he did when he got his hands on a phone was Google the consequences he might face.

And then tried to flee said consequences.

I remember back when MicroProse was doing the first Civilization (on which I helped!), we realized we were in for a blockbuster when we noticed that the Quality Assurance staff was staying AFTER HOURS to keep playing Civ! Those guys played games all day long, and usually had to work overtime, and the last thing they wanted after leaving work was more games. They went straight home and got drunk.

But they stayed voluntarily to play Civ because it was so incredibly fun.

Also for those who didn't know I worked on Civilization, I admit I was a fairly minor participant, but I did invent the tax collectors and scientists to go along with the Elvises, and helped argue Sid Meier into keeping the Elvises. Good times.

1) Now that existing landlords can no longer can raise rents as costs inflate, they either let their apartments fall to ruin or quit entirely

2) New development ceases as investors avoid investing where revenue is fixed, expenses are not, and their work is vilified

3) The now state run, run down apartments are exploding in cost as housing units go offline and new development completely stops outside of wildly over budget, always delayed government housing

4) The communist response is to blame greedy landlords and developers for not being willing to go bankrupt to provide housing for others

5) As the productive flee the city, the communists have no choice but to increase taxes even more - on everyone, not just the few rich left in the city

6) The race to the bottom begins, as societal unrest grows, factions develop, and in-fighting reigns

7) The great hope - which is not a guarantee - is that reason eventually prevails and a reversion to common sense enables the slow, painful recovery of New York City

There is no path for this to go well, NYC.

It ends as it always has throughout history: Less housing, higher prices, and higher taxes for you.
