Bill Van Burkleo, punter-QB with Calgary Stampeders on 1971 Grey Cup team, died May 20 in Katy, Texas at 83. In 15 games, he punted 140 times for 41.8 avg., ran 186 yards - 89 on one play. He won Grey Cups with Ottawa 1968-69 and Hamilton 1972. He was a doctor most of his life.
